Elizabeth Whitley

Elizabeth Whitley, a retired hotel housekeeper, entered into eternal rest at St. Joseph Hospice on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the age of 75. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident New Orleans, LA. Loving mother of Stella Whitley. Daughter of the late Gerard Wade Whitley and Blanchie Olivia Whitley. Granddaughter of the late James Murray, Sr. and Elizabeth Murray. Sister of Terry Whitley, Helen Brooks, Evelyn Moore, Vivian Byrd, Carla Rivers, Paula Cotton, and the late Leroy Earl Whitley, Charlie Earl Whitley, and Joyce Marie Carto. Elizabeth is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10:00a.m.
