Edward William Scott, Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the age of 55. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Loving father of Eric Scott of Westwego, LA and Italia Mandville of Philadelphia, PA. Beloved son of Viola Scott and the late Edward William Scott, Sr. Grandson of the late Joseph and Nancy Jones, Sandy and Cecilia Scott. Great grandson of the late Curley and Cecil Elliott. Brother of Donna Lynette Scott (Charles) Rounds, Patrice (Andre) Henson, Tamara (Keith) Scott, Darlene (Arron) McCray, Charlene Scott, Alert (Adrian) Scott, Gregory (Kim) Scott, Ron, Kris, and Edward (Kim) Scott III, and the late Junie Marie Scott. Nephew of Melba Lewis of Atlanta, GA, and the late Nancy Vance, Joseph, Jr., Larry and William “Fat Man” Jones. Great nephew of Irma Jones. Former husband of Gina Houston.  Devoted friend of Gail, Charles, Buddy, and Freddie.  Edward is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
