Edith Mae Diggs entered into eternal rest at Touro Infirmary Hospital on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the age of 68. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Edith was a homemaker and caregiver to all, who never met a stranger, and she loved her family dearly. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Diggs. Devoted mother Felicia A. Diggs (Leonard Keasley). Loving grandmother of Crandle, Cole, and Raven Diggs. Great grandmother of Nevaeh Lacy. Daughter of the late Louis and Oretha Alexander. Sister of Gladys Rogers, Florence (Henry) Duncan, and the late Leona Alexander, Ruby Mae Gillian, Donald Alexander, and Rosemary Phillip. Godmother of Cody Crosby, Yara Hill, and Erica Dixon. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L.B.
