ED ERVIN SINGLETON

Ed Ervin Singleton entered into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the age of 68. He was a native of Shelby, MS and a resident of Avondale, LA. Ed was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and he attended Delagado Community College. “Eddie”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends was a former employee with Avondale Shipyard. Beloved husband of Irene Williams Singleton. Son of the late Morris and Beatrice Singleton. Grandson of the late Ezekiel and Mary Singleton. Brother of Johnnie Singleton, David Singleton, Christine, Deborah, Kim Marie, Laurie, and Reed Linda Singleton, and the late Morris Singleton, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church 433 Avondale Garden Rd. Avondale, LA on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
