DORETHA ANN WHITE

Doretha Ann White, age 75, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Jo Ellen Smith Nursing Home. She was a native of Independence, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Doretha was a graduate of Lincoln High School and she attended Delgado Community College. Doretha was a retired Nasa First Aid Responder/Firefighter, and a former Surgical Tech. Beloved wife of Louis White. Loving mother of Racheal White, Dorene White (Kerry) VanBuren, and Christine White (Solomon) Coleman. Grandmother of the late Ry’lie Hensley. Daughter of the late John Ard, Sr. and Willie Mae Ard. Sister of Jerome Ard, Irma Jones, Christine (Robert) Young, Revonne Lewis, Irene Ard, Ora Lee White Ard, and the late Leon Ard, Willie James Ard, Lola Mae Ard, and John Ard, Jr. Doretha is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
