DONNY THOMAS SMALL, SR

Donny Thomas Small, Sr., a retired truck driver, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the age of 65.  He was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Donny was a graduate of L. B. Landry Class of 1977. He was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard, where he served with honor and distinction. Donny was an avid football fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. He found joy and camaraderie among fellow fans. He will be greatly missed by all. Beloved husband of Sharon G. Small. Devoted father of Dionne Small (Luther III) Wise, Donny T. Small, Jr., Dennie Weber, Jr., and the late David M. Small, and Deshone M. Small. Bonus father of Thomas (Maleree) Tunson. Cherish grandfather of Liam Lopez, Lennox Wise, and Phoenix S. Wise. Son of the late Felix B. Small, Sr. and Ruby T. Small. Brother of Michael J. (Eliska) Small, Anita Small (George) Campbell, Cary (Diane) Small, and the late Felix “Rusty” Small, Jr. Bonus brother of Dr. Bobby Burke; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; members of L. B.
