DE'SHAWN JEROME VARNADO

De’Shawn Jerome Varnado departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the age of 22. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. De’Shawn was a graduate of John Ehret High School. Loving son of Shawn Jerome Varnado and Catina Ann Hodges. Stepson of Christohnya Ross. Grandson of Tyronne Hodges, Richard Varnado, Ruth N. Varnado, and the late Brenda M. Hodges. Brother of Terrence J. Hodges, Brandon Leo, Bryan Leo, Shawn J. Varnado, Jr., and Kai’Shawn N. Varnado. Nephew of the late Jerome Hodges. De’Shawn is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
