DERRICK CHARLES WILLIAMS

Derrick Charles Williams, Sr. departed this life at his residence on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the age of 47. He was a native of Metairie, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Derrick was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and a former manager of Family Dollar. Loving father of Derriaun Chasity Williams and Derrick Charles Williams, Jr. Special friend of Dawaker Cole. Beloved son of Burnell C. Williams and Brenda Collins Spottsville. Stepson of Junior Ray Spottsville. Grandson of the late Walter and Mildred Collins. Devoted brother of Kevin Joseph White, Duane Anthony White, Shannon Rene’ Spottsville, and the late Brandi Raychelle Spottsville. Derrick is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
