DEON TRENISE GULLAGE

Deon Trenise Tibbs Gullage entered into eternal rest at University Medical Center on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the age of 48. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Deon was employed as a paramedic. Beloved wife of 22 years to Jeffery Gullage. Devoted mother of Demiere Tibbs, Sr. Stepmother of LaKoria and Ashuntia Gullage. Grandmother of Demiere “DJ” Tibbs, Jr., Elijah Williams, Cullen Tibbs, and Nakiera Lee. Daughter of Debra H. Roussell. Granddaughter of Shirley Brown and the late Samuel Haughton, Jr. Great granddaughter of Hilda A. Higgins. Sister of Glynn Ray Roussell, III. Aunt of Gabrielle Rayon Roussell. Niece of the late Ronzel Charles Haughton. Daughter in law of the late Fern Gullage.  Sister in law of Kim Roussell, and the late Antoinette White, and Marilyn Scott. Deon is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family; employees of East Jefferson, West Jefferson AMR, Amed EMS, Jefferson Parish Police, Kenner Police, and Fire Departments are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
