DENISE LAMPKIN

Denise Lampkin departed this life at Bridgepoint Continuing Care Hospital on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the age of 57. She was a native df New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Denise whom was affectionally called Burgermae, Shorty and Bird loved fishing, shopping, cooking, music and giving parties. Devoted mother of George Lampkin, Diane Lampkin, Demetria Lampkin, Eugene (Nell) Lampkin, and Beatrice Glenda Lampkin. Grandmother of Raymond, Lavar, Rayone, Alvinique, Raymone, Alvinisha, Alvin, Cydney, Faith, Siynione, Avin, Gerald, Germon, EvJon, and Gerae’.  Great grandmother of the late Royal Lampkin. Daughter of Diane Lampkin and James Johnson. Devoted granddaughter of Elouise Lampkin. Sister of James (Trenica) Wings, Tyrone, Trenice (Fred), Glenda, and Glen Lampkin,  James, Jr., Lynette, and Annette Johnson, Truman Nicholas, Keisha Morrow, and the late Elijah “Otis’ Lampkin, and Debbie Lampkin (Turiano) Pineyro. Aunt of Andrea and Heather Lampkin, and the late Gervonte Lampkin and Zena Moore. Best friend of Beatrice and Trenice Lampkin. Cousin of Tonisha Dupree, also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. Relatives and friend of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at  Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 6,  2020 at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the parlor.
