DayShawn Christopher Paul departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age 38. He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. DayShawn was employed as a laborer with Total Marine Services. He was a former Lawn Care Specialist with Mighty Mowers and Paul’s Lawn Care. Beloved husband of the late Wynnoka Paul. Devoted father of TeKhyran Bush, TyShawn Bush, Trejzhiyra Bush, and Ziya Imani Collins. Son of Henry Baker, Sr., Cliff Dixon, and the late Agnes Paul. Stepson of Victoria Baker.  Grandson of the late Clarence, Sr. and Orelia Paul. Loving brother of Leonard Paul, Antoine Paul, Ronald Paul, Cody Crosby, Henry Baker, Jr., Amos Hardy, Terrance Dixon, and LaDawn Paul. Nephew of the late Alex Paul, Clarence Paul, Jr. and Albert Paul. Dayshawn is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
