DARREL LEE JOHNSON

Darrel Lee Johnson transitioned into eternity on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the age of 71. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Darrell was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and, he continued his education obtaining a Doctorate Degree in Management from The University of Phoenix. He served his country in the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force. Darrel held various managerial position throughout his career and retired from U.S. Army Corps of Engineer. Dr. Johnson as he was affectionately known to his church family was ordained as an Elder at Apostolic Outreach Center, and he was the author of the book titled 21^St Century Church Leadership. Beloved husband of 39 to Cleo Delores Cooper Johnson. Devoted father of Darrell W. Johnson, Tuere J. Jackson, Charmine J. Anderson, Rahsaan Lewis, and Rhonda L. Banks. Son of the late Freddie and Mildred Johnson. Brother of Freddie M. Johnson, Shelia J. Lyons, and the late Larry Johnson and Jacqueline Johnson, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 3 great grand a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
