Darlene Joseph Laurent departed this life at her residence on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the age of 61. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Darlene was a graduate of L. W. High School and was a retired employee of West Jefferson Medical Center housekeeping department. Devoted wife of the late Kerry Laurent. Loving mother of Christopher (Miranda) Joseph, Sr. Stepmother of Karen Duient. Grandmother of Dynasty Laurent and Christopher Laurent, Jr. Daughter of the late Lawrence, Sr. and Thelma Williams Joseph. Sister of Eric (Debra) Joseph, Sr., Robert (Linda) Joseph, Sr., Terry (Geraldine) Joseph, Sr., Bernadette Joseph Evans, Laura Joseph Mitchell, Debra Lynn Joseph, and the late Lloyd Joseph, Shirley Cantrell, and Oliver Joseph. Aunt of the late Eric Joseph, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Pastor D. C.
