DAN ANTHONY MARTIN

Dan Anthony Martin departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the age of 42. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Dan was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School, and he was employed with the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Loving father of Dannisha Martin and Daysia Danesia Martin. Beloved son of Kim Martin and the late Dan Mathew Adams, Sr. Stepson of Tennes Scott. Grandson of the late Lawrence and Betty Martin, Willie, Sr. and Christine Bird Adams. Devoted brother of Morris, Christine, Alicia, Kimberly and Waynesha Martin, and the late Wayne Martin. Dan is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Ernest N. Morial Convention Center are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Road, Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 1, 2025, a 10:00a.m. Pastor Terrance A. Ranson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
