DALTON LEE FREDERICKS

Dalton Lee Fredericks, Sr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at Veteran Administration Hospital on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the age of 66. He was a native and resident of Harvey, LA. Dalton was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Harvey, LA. He was a retired truck driver with Boomtown Casino. Dalton was a veteran of the United States Army and received the Combat Engineer commendation. Loving father of Kawannan and Devin Bridgewater, Elbert Fredericks, Delshawn Taylor, Latoya Fredericks Marshall, Joseph Humphey, and the late Dalton Fredericks, Jr., and Delshawnique Taylor Fluker. Stepfather of Alexis Fairman McGee and Alanie Fairman Meyers. Son of the late Robert and Gloria Stevenson. Brother of Alfred, Malcolm, Gregory, and Scott Fredericks, Jacklene Dumas, and Dina Jackson. Stepbrother of Sandra Fairman. Beloved longtime companion of the late Hope Marie Fairman. Dalton is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Zion Christian Family Worship Center, 5040 Taravella Lane, Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Ricky Johnson, officiating; Pastor Carnell Bridges, host pastor. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the church.
