Curvis “Moe” Augustine entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the age of 79. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, Cut-Off Community. Curvis was employed at Cardinal Wholesale as a truck driver. Beloved husband of Patsy Augustine. Devoted father of Cina and Chansey Augustine, Florence Prevost, Tameka Watts, and the late Tanya Rose. Son of the late Eliza Davis and Gustav Augustine. Brother of Eloise and Carolyn Augustine, Alvin and Ronald Franklin, Elaine Williams, and Joycelyn Hart, also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Second Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Public Viewing from 9:00a.m. until 9:50a.m. at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:00a.m.  Followed by a Private Funeral Service at 10:00a.m. To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com.
