CORNELL WAYNE DAVIS, SR.

Cornell Wayne Davis, Sr. entered eternal rest at Ochnser Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the age of 65. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Harvey, LA. Cornell was a graduate of L. B. Landry Senior High School. He was a former employee of Command Construction LLC as a foreman. Devoted husband of Monica Davis. Loving father of Dwayne (Eriresha) Lewis, DeShaun Lewis, Charnell (Edward) McConis, Cornell W. Davis, Jr., and Monique Davis. Grandfather of the late Meya Lewis. Son of the late Jack Davis and Gertrude Gardener. Brother of Donald (Lynn) Davis, Sr., and Gail (Edmond) Reynolds, and the late Waymon Brian Davis, Sr., also survived by 18 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners All Saints Catholic Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church 1441 Teche St. New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the church.
