Clarence Henry, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the age of 64. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Clarence was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School Class of 1978, and he was a self-employed mechanic. Beloved husband of Janice Hills Henry. Devoted father of Dieago Molette, Sr., Val Vincent, Nikki Peterson, Natasha Tucker, Kevin Hill, Sr., Jermaine Barnes, Sr., O’Keith Hill, Sr., Alicia Barnes, Ronnica Flenoy, and Clarence Hill. Grandfather of the late Jermaine Barnes, Jr. Great grandfather of the late A’Lonnei Johnson. Son of the late Clarence Henry, Sr., and Claudia Henry. Grandson of the late John and Beatrice Henry, Sheppard and Violet James. Brother of Cedric Henry, Sr. Kevin Henry, Sharon Henry, Rita Chambers, and Matrice Henry, also survived by 24 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Will Be Private.
