CHERYL L. HOLMES

Cheryl L. Holmes entered peacefully into eternal rest at Belle Maison Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the age of 66. She was a native of Woodville, MS, a former resident of New Orleans, LA and presently residing in Hammond, LA. Beloved daughter of the late Frank Holmes and Lizzie Bell. Loving sister of Walter Bell, Frederick Bell, and the late Willie Mae Taylor, Glenda M. Bell, Calvin Holmes, Frankie Ray Bell, James McFarland, Albert Bell, and Charles Bell. Cheryl is also survived by her devoted caregivers, her nephew Wendell H. Taylor, Jr., her cousin Doris Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery, 9820 Nine Mile Point Road West, Westwego, LA on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Viewing will begin at 9:30a.m. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA
