Charles I. Young, Jr.

Charles Isidore Young, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his sister’s residence in Laplace, LA at the age of 68. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Bridge City, LA. Charles was a graduate of Job Crops. He was formerly employed as a truck driver with Borden Milk Company and he also did roofing in greater New Orleans area. Loving father of Kimler (Emmanuel) Carter, Donna Williams, and Charles Williams. Son of the late Charles Isidore Young, Sr. and Lillie Beatrice Howard. Brother of Charlene Williams, Gilda Sneed, Pamela Carter, Anthony, Darrell and Todd Young and the late Linda Young Blazio. Brother-in-law of Leon Sneed, Roosevelt Carter, Deborah, Vera and Tobi Young and the late Leon Harry Williams; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and the Bridge City Community.
