CEOLA RICHARDSON RUE

Ceola Richardson Rue, age 77, departed this life on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Shrewsbury, LA and a resident of Mansfield, TX. Ceola was a 1968 graduate of Lincoln High School. She later attend Delgado Community College, earning her degree in 2001. Ceola was a dedicated employee of Magnolia Community Services for 35 years. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family, listening to music, and cooking special meals. Beloved wife of 46 years to the late Floyd A. Rue, Jr. Loving mother of Alisia (Terry, Sr.) Phillips, of Mansfield, TX, Shelia Ann Rue, Bernnadetta Ar ay Rue, and the late Jason Anthony Rue, Sr. Devoted grandmother of Ashley Mishone Phillips and Terry “TJ” Phillips of Mansfield, TX, Jason A. Rue, Jr., and Jayhanna Renee Rue. Great grandmother of Laila Marie Watson of Mansfield, TX. Daughter of the late Willie Richardson and Roxie Holden Richardson. Sister of Laura (AJ) Horton, Betty Sinegar, and the late Willie, Jr., John Henry, Sr., Curtis, Sr., Rocky, Eddie, Roxie Lee, Mary Ann, and Jo Ann Richardson. Daughter-in-law of the late Floyd Rue, Sr. and Phillipine Saul Rue. Sister-in-law of the late Jimmy Williams, Delores Rue and Leona N. Richardson. Ceola is also survived by her fur grandbabies Oreo and Trixy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Private Service Will Be Held.
