CELESTINE MASON

Celestine Mason entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at her residence, at the age of 65. Celestine was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. She was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and Meadows Draughon Business College. As a member of White Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, she served as Financial Secretary and Choir member. She was employed as a legal secretary at the law firm of Jones, Swanson, and Huddell until she retired in 2020. Loving mother of Nakia Mason and Christina Mitchell (Dewayne). Grandmother of Logan, Reagan, and David Henry, Jayme and James Fountain, Daphne, Dewayne, and Danielle Mitchell. Sister of Charlie Mason, Pastor John (Shelia) Mason, Lionel Mason, and Eunice Slocum. Aunt of Emmett Spears. She will be fondly remembered by her godchild Marquita Mason, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
