Carrie Jean Chirlow entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the age of 57. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Carrie will be remembered for her loving, kind spirit, and sense of humor. She was very carefree and lived life to the fullest. Beloved daughter of the late Clarence Chirlow, Jr. and Estelle “Essie” Sims Chirlow. Granddaughter of the late Alma Williams and Buster Sims. Loving sister of Clarence III “Peanut”, Lawrence “Lil Joe”, Romalice, Michael, Wayne, and Johnathan Chirlow, Carl Firven, Pete Gibson, Linda and Alma “Pat “Chirlow, Nicole, Nadine, and Latonya “Tiny” Gibson, Shirlene and Lynn Firven, and the late Kevin Chirlow, Sr. and Wanda Gibson. Niece of Nita Mae Chirlow and Peter Williams. Sister-in-law of Patricia “Trisha” Chirlow; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Heavenly Star Baptist Church, 1020 Cohen St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 10, 2021 10:00a.m. Pastor Aubrey Wallace, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m until service time at the above named church.
