CAROLYN RUFFIN

Carolyn Ruffin departed this life at her residence on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 76. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Carolyn was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School  Class of 1961 and a retired housekeeper supervisor with Baptist Hospital. Devoted mother of Shoan A. Ruffin. Grandmother  of Derrineisha Dales, Bryan Samson, Dylan Ruffin, D’Shoan Ruffin. Daughter of the late Willie Ruffin, Sr. and Thelma Ruffin. Sister of John Ruffin, Barbara Fleming, Sheila Ruffin, Gilda Ruffin, Karen Ruffin, and the late Willie  Ruffin, Jr., also survived by 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Private service will be held at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery-New Orleans, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe Street Gretna, LA.
