CARL RAY JORDAN, JR.

Carl “Mook” Ray Jordan, Jr. vanished from our view on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at the age 46. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and continued his studies at Delgado Community College Culinary School. Carl was employed as a Cook at Sun Ray Grill.  He enjoyed taking pictures with loved ones and friends and proudly posting them on Facebook. Affectionately known to family and friends as “Mook, “Whitney Hype”, “Spooky Spook”, and “Black Carl” he will be remembered for his heart of gold, easygoing humble spirit. Beloved husband of Nicole Martin Jordan. Loving father of Carlisha Frances. Stepfather of Tyrielle Martin, Kyara Woolridge, Kirklin Woolridge and Demond Woolridge. Devoted son of Norman Jean Jordan and Carl Ray Roberson. Grandson of the late Dorothy Jordan, Oscar Roberson, and Hazel Roberson. Brother of Derrick Jordan, Tory Jordan, Rachelle Jordan, Kendra Jordan, Latoya Jackson, and Ronquell Roberson. Nephew of the late Linda Ruth White, Otis Jordan, Jr., and Darrel Jordan, Sr.  Carl is also survived by 2 step grandchildren, 5 nieces, 9 nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. latives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
