CARL ANTHONY COUSIN, SR.

Carl Anthony “Puff” Cousin, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2023. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Carl was a retired Child Development Mentor and Maintenance Technician. Devoted father of Chandra Maria Cousin. Adored grandfather of Jayante ShaTara, and Julius Haywood Jr., Aaliyah Alexis, and Alyssa Ashley Warren. Great Grandfather of Joseph H. Harris, V. and Julius Haywood. Beloved son of the late Bartholomew Cousin & Delcina Decou Cousin-Thomas. Loving brother of Carla Thomas-Williams (Danny), Ralph Thomas, and the late Joan Cousin-Favorite, Cassandra Cousin-Deverney, Bartholomew “Earl” Cousin, Joseph “Randy” Thomas III. Godfather of Bryan Joseph Thomas. Godson of the late Judith Madison and Bobby Scott. Devoted friend of Aaron Morton and Anthony Bradley, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service at 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Oliver Cyprian, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until the time of service. Blessing of the body will begin at 9:30am. Interment: Westlawn Cemetery- Gretna, LA.
