CARITA WILLIAMS ROACHE

Carita Williams Roache entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her residence at the age of 79.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero. She was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System and was employed with People’s Home Health & Hospice, where she worked as a health care provider for over 40 years. Devoted wife of the late Warren Roache. Loving mother of Roderick W. Allen and the late Kenneth Allen. Beloved grandmother of Ra’Dre Allen whom she adored and who lived with and cared for her, Roderick Danizler, Roder’Nique, Ra’Drake and Roderick Allen, Jr., four other grandchildren whom she adored. Great grandmother of Milani Shy Allen, Ri’leeyah, and Ri’ana Moore. Daughter of the late Lonnie and Cherry Mae Williams. Granddaughter of the late Peter and Caritha Muse Miles. Sister of Carolyn Williams, LD (Darlene) Williams, Johnnie Williams, Larry (Mary) Williams, Lloyd Williams and the late Melvin, Sylvester, and Clarence Williams. Sister-in-law of Margaret, Silvia, and Dorothy Williams. Godmother of LaKeitha Carter and Kenneth M. Willis. Carita is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church 922 Estalote Ave. Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Louis Brooks Harrison officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
