Calvin V. Smith, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 36.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Westwego, LA. Companion of Tershell Mack. Loving father of Calvin V. Smith, III, and Cali M. Smith. Son of Calvin V. Smith, Sr., and the late Karen Cain-Smith. Grandson of the late Randolph and Eileen Cain, and Rebecca Smith. Brother of Curishel I. Smith, and Deneill R. Cain. Uncle of Jasmine N. Cain, Trey-Juan V. Smith, and Karye D. Cain. Nephew of Glendia Gail Cain, Essie Smith, Willie Lean Smith, Debria Smith, Ruby Gastinel, Alfred Cain, Arnold Cain, Vincent Cain, Cecil Cain, Kenney Smith, and the late Emmanuel Smith. Godfather of Sanya Williams, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time. Internment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
