CALVIN WESLEY POLK, SR.

Calvin Wesley Polk, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the age of 74. He was a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Calvin was a retired master welder of Boh Brothers and the City of Kenner. Loving father of Michelle Polk (Pernell) Tobias, Calvin Wesley (Stacy) Polk, Jr., Demond Curtis (Yolanda) Polk, Sr., Ireannna Shauntrice Veal, and Rene (Johnathan) Green. Son of the late Samuel Polk, Sr. and Althea Clark Polk. Grandson of the late Cleveland and Roberta Clark, Simuel Polk and Ollie M. Daniels. Brother of Freddie Polk, Stanley Polk, Sr., Daisy Polk Woods, Donna Polk, Denise Ramee, Antoine Smith, and the late Samuel Polk, Sr., Cleveland Polk, Annie Polk Roby, Carole Polk Alexander, Alfreda Polk Bruster, and Jacqueline Polk, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
