Byron Young departed this life at his residence on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the age of 50. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Byron attended L. B. Landry High School and was a member of Second Nazarine Baptist Church. Beloved son of Clarence Ross, Lerette Ross, and the late Billie Jean Young. Grandson of the late Anthony and Johnnie Mae Walter. Loving brother of Darnarius Ross, Shannon Trotter, Dynall Duplessis, Savannah Ross, Stacey Duplessis, and Nicholas (Octavia) Duplessis. Byron is also survived by 1 daughter, 4 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Nazarine Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Anthony Ruffin, officiating  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
