BRITTANY ALEXIS USSIN

Brittany Alexis Ussin departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the age of 25. She was a native of New Orleans LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Brittany attended Algiers Tech High School and was employed as a housekeeper. Loving mother of Raheem Ussin, Dream Ussin, Jaheem Ussin, Janae Ussin, and Serenity Ussin. Beloved daughter of Bernell Stewart and Montrice Ussin. Granddaughter of Helen Stewart, Freddie Jones, Carole Jones, and the late Naisidn Hopkins, and Reginald Myles. Sister of Bernell Ussin (her twin), Gordon Wheaton, Jr., Jordon Wheaton, Catrice Ussin, Cierra Ussin, and Briana Stewart. Brittany is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of House of Refuge Apostolic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
