BRIAN KEITH MITCHELL, SR.

Brian Keith Mitchell, Sr. entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of 65. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Brian was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. Brian was a retired chef with Bayou Shell Company. Beloved husband of Kim Mitchell. Loving father of the late Brian Keith Mitchell, Jr.; he was also instrumental in the rearing of his nephew Treasure Craft. Beloved son of the late Joseph Mitchell, and Mercedes Mitchell. Grandson of the late Robert and Eva Lane. Brother of Kevin Mitchell, Tonya Mitchell, and the late Don Mitchell. Godfather of Marvin Craft, Jeremiah Jones, and Nishiecka Jones. Brian is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Melvin C. Zeno officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
