BRETT K. JACKSON

Brett Keith Jackson found solace in the arms of our Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the age of 45. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Plano, TX. Brett was a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School, where he was a member of the basketball team, and received numerous awards for his performance on the court. He continued his studies at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA, and later obtained a degree in business from Phoenix University. Brett was the proud owner and operator of Imani Reflection, a car detailing business. Devoted father of Imani Jackson. Beloved son of the late Climmos Jackson, Jr. and Betty Trudeaux Jackson. Grandson of the late Climmos Jackson, Sr., Beaulah Jackson, Adam Parker and Myrtle Parker. Loving brother of Jacqueline Jackson. Nephew of Thelma (Marcel) Jackson, Ava (Ladell), Maple, Angelina Jackson Rankins, and the late Alcide “Sammy” Trudeaux, Raymond Jackson, Harold Jackson, Rosalind Trudeaux, Emelda J. Petty, and Rosemary J. Burns. Uncle of Brittney Wiley, and Lynn Durham, III. Great uncle of Lyric Wiley, London Wiley, Alanie Durham, Landon Wiley, Lynn Durham, IV, and Legend Durham. Godson of Brenda Ward Barrow. Brett is also survived by his extended family March Palmer, Mortie Foraman , Courtney (Spencer) Crockett, Troy (Melinda) Palmer, Marcia Watts, Nicole Palmer, Tim Allen, Kashawn Cobbins, Carl Sutton, Sr., Angela Allen, Kawanda Polk, Joshua Palmer, Sr., Tabitha Allen, Aisha Cooper, Dionne Foreman, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church 1509 Monroe St., Gretna, LA on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Orin D.
