Brent “G Buug” Jenkins on Sunday, January 26, 2020 God wrapped him in his arms and called him home at the age of 19. Brent was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a student at Landry-Walker High School, who loved to sing and rap. Loving father of Armani Marie Jenkins. Son of Gregoriann Jenkins. Adopted son of Cynthia Turner. Stepson of Stanley Nickerson and the late Hillary Gamble. Grandson of Doris Stansberry and the late Ann Herbert, Gregory Forest and Alvin Turner. Brother of Junicka and Ann Jenkins, Brandi Johnson and BreShell Delany. Nephew of Eva and Deron Jenkins, Amy Herbert, Cynthia (Glenn) Stears, Sherrell White, Spencina (Izzak) Brumfield, and the late Joe Jenkins, Travis Turner, and Anita Turner. He was preceded in death by 5 cousins. Godson of Corey King. Companion of Lakesia Smith; also survived by, 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 godsisters, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 2311 Seventh Street New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Lawrence St. Cyre, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
