BRENDA JACKSON WILSON

Brenda Jackson Wilson entered eternal rest on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the age of 78. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Brenda was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School Class of 1963 and Xavier University Class of 1967. She was a retired probation officer from the City of New Orleans. Brenda was a former employee of ACA Reality, Foresters Financial, and Primerica Insurance. Beloved mother of Tia Shepherd, and Candace Wilson (Alred) Luke. Daughter of the late Freddie Jackson, Sr. and Evelyn Cooper Jackson. Sister of Freddie Jackson, Jr., Yvonne Jackson (Herman) Clayton, Shirley Jackson (Clarence) Simmons, and the late Marion Jackson Corbin. Favorite aunt of the late Devin Antoine Clayton, also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church 1441 Teche St. New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. at the above named church.
