BRENDA A. DUMAS

Brenda A. Dumas entered eternal rest on Monday March 4, 2024, at the age of 73. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Brenda was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School, and she attended Nicholls State University. She was a retired employee with the State of Louisiana as a Social Worker. Beloved daughter of the late Hayward Dumas and Florence Robinson Dumas. Granddaughter of the late Maria Robinson, Paul and Rose Dumas. Sister of Carolyn Dumas Rancifer and the late Ronald Dumas. Loving aunt of Christopher Michael Rancifer, Quentin Dumas (Jessica), Rondel Dumas, Dominique Dumas, Rhonda Dumas (Sam), Great aunt of Sean Micheal Dumas, Taylor Dumas, and Cincere Dumas. Sister in law of the late Ike Rancifer. Friend of Linda Crousby and Janet Steib, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Father Sydney Speaks, celebrant.
