BRENDA THOMAS BRUE

Brenda Brue entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the age of 61. She was a native of Shreveport, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Brenda was employed as a nurse. Beloved wife of the late Jesse Brue, Sr. Loving mother of Eddie Thomas, Selina Brue, Jessie Brue, Jessica Brue, and the late Tynia Thomas, and Gregory Thomas. Grandmother of the late Terius Brue. Daughter of the late Lloyd Randle and Audrey Webb. Sister of Yvette Anderson, Janice Thomas, Lloyd Randle, George Anderson, Tyrone Anderson, James Thomas, Willis Thomas, and Anthony Thomas. Aunt of the late Willis Thomas, Jr., also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Calvary International Worship Center and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Dr., Marrero, LA on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery-Metairie, LA.
