Brandy Syntrell Wilson, age 14, and Ally Berry Wilson, age 8, loving sisters who were inseparable, passed away unexpectedly due to drowning. Both were residents of Algiers, LA within a large close knit family, that included 11 siblings. Brandy was a student at L. B. Landry High School, where she was a member of the choir. Brandy loved reading, watching movies, making videos with her siblings, and singing. As one of the older siblings she took her role of big sister very seriously, always assisting her parents with the care of her younger brothers and sisters. She was known to her friends as a good listener, who was always upbeat and a joy to be around. Ally a vibrant second grader at Harriet Tubman Elementary School, loved music, dancing, and recording TikTok videos. She would spend hours with her siblings, dancing and recording videos on TikTok for all to view. Ally and her cousin Christina had a very special relationship and often referred to each other as sisters. Her infectious smile and energic spirit uplifted everyone who encountered her. We know that she has the angels in heaven dancing with her now. Loving daughters of Octavia Wilson, Brandon Wilson, and Allen Berry III. Beloved granddaughters of Willie Mae Clofer, Shawanda Johnson, Allen C. Berry, Sr., Leonard Jordan, Herbert Wilson, George Jackson, and the late Ronnie Meads, James and Marilyn B. Tucker, and Dorothy Pearl Harper. Great granddaughter of the late Samuel and Shirley F. Morris, and Ruth Scott. Adored sisters of Allen Williams, Carl, Alex, Octavius, Allen Michael, and Alexander Berry Wilson, Caden Berry, Romeka and Janeka Watts. Also left to cherish their memories are a host of aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, great great uncels, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; faculty, staff, and students at L. B. Landry High School and Harriet Tubman Elementary School are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Avenue Algiers, LA on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor; Pastor Elemeda Washington of Oak Villa Church, officiating.
