BOBBY LEE LINDSEY, SR.

Bobby Lee Lindsey, Sr. departed this life on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the age of 66. He was a native of Metairie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Bobby was a graduate of O. P. Walker High School. He was the owner and operator of B&B General Hauling, and formerly employed with Jefferson Transit Authority, and McDermott Corporation, Inc. Bobby was a member of Black Men United, Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club, and the Krewe of Nomtoc. Devoted father of Tameka Cole-Williams, Shirlen Cole-Williams, Rockell Cole-Pitts, Brandon Emillen, and the late Bobby Lee Lindsey, Jr., Angel Cole, and Tara Lindsey. Beloved son of the late Pink Lindsey, Sr., and Nell C. Lindsey. Brother of Nell Lindsey, Nellie Lindsey, Rose Morris, Gracie Lindsey, Martha Rhonda, Febbie Lindsey, Paul Lindsey, Robert Lindsey, Abe Lindsey, and the late Oscar Lindsey, Mariy Ann Lindsey, Sylvia Lindsey, Carolyn Carter, Tamika Lindsey, Ed Lindsey, Pink Lindsey, Jr., and David Lindsey. Father-in-law of Larry Williams, Jamar Williams, and Jerome Pitts. Loving longtime companion of Sonya Athanase. Bobby is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
