BOBBY CARLOS HOUSTON

Bobby Carlos Houston departed this life on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the age of 37. He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Bobby was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he was a former employee with West Jefferson Medical Center as a porter. Beloved son of the late John Houston and Bobbi Ann Carter. Grandson of the late Monroe Carter and Lily May Carter. Brother of Ronald (Shani) Houston, John Houston, Henry Houston, Anthony Howard, Jarrell (Kendra) Howard, Bernell Harper, Ellison Harper, Angel Houston, Andrea Houston, Alexandra Carter, Christina (Eugene) Mason, Kenyell Howard, Earnestine Rickerson, Julia Jones, Victoria Royal, Josephine Bridgewater, and the late Greta Harper. Bobby is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther St., Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Darrell McKinnies, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
