Bishop Leo Williams, Jr., a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the Orleans Parish School Board, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 74. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. He was the Bishop of Christian Fellowship Spiritual Church and Isrealite Divine Spiritual Church. Bishop Williams was also a seamster and tambourine player for Yellow Pocahontas Tribe. Beloved husband of the late Tia White-Williams. Devoted father of Holly Mansion (John) Porter, Stacy Williams, Natasha Williams, and Leo (Shanett) Williams, Jr. Son of the late Leo Williams, Sr. and Delores Joseph. Grandson of the late Rosemary Williams. Loving brother of Rene Joseph, Minster Rosemary Williams, Minister Paulette Sorina, Minister Ursala Troop, Della Joseph, Pamela Joseph, Cheryl Thomas, and the late Micheal Herring, Sr., Anthony Herring, Tyrone, Sylvia, and Gerard Joseph. Bishop Williams is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Minister Dawn Lawrence, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
