BERNICE CLARK BRYANT

Bernice Clark Bryant entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the age of 81. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. She was a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish Public School Board. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Ernest Sears Bryant. Loving mother of Chris (Wilfred) Times and Melvin Joseph Johnson, Jr. Daughter of the late Wilson Clark, Sr., and Elnora Harris Clark. Devoted sister of Geraldine C. Reed, Rosilea Clark, Dolores C. Every, and the late Louise P. Francois, Wilson Clark, Jr., and Henry Clark. Sister-in-law of Elaine Kelly, Louis Joseph, and the late Harry Reed and Leon Francois. Bernice is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating. Viewing will be held from 8:30a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY at the above named church.
