BARBARA S POWELL

Barbara Susonne Powell entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 65. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Barbara was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School. “Miss B”, was affectionately called by family and friends, was employed with the Marriott Hotel for over 26 years. Beloved daughter of the late Cleveland Powell, Sr., and Leona Powell. Granddaughter of the late Martha Guillary. Sister of Cleveland Powell, Jr., Donald Powell (Bobbie Darby), and the late Felix Powell, Oliver Powell, and Ronald Powell. Aunt of Ronald Powell, Jr. Sister in law of RoAnn and Tracy Powell. Friend of Vernon, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name parlor.
