AUGUST TAYLOR, III

August “Peanut” Taylor III, age 57, entered peacefully into eternal rest at Passages Hospice on Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. August retired from Boh Bros Construction after 35 years as an operator. Beloved husband of Shelia Taylor. Loving father of Albert Jones, Michael Harden, August (Larisa) Jones, Ishmeal (Anika) Morris, Maurice Rimmer, and Rashawnda Harden. Son of the late August Taylor, Jr. and Lorraine Smith. Devoted brother of Leola Dillon and the late Rev. Clayton Neal. Nephew of Annie Mae Watson. August is also survived by his brothers-in-law Isaac Dillon, Ozell Daniels, Jr., 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Charles Crawford of Good Samaritan Ministries, officiating.
