AUDREY CASS JACOB

Audrey Juanita Cass Jacob departed this life to be with the Lord at granddaughter’s home on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marreo, LA. Audrey was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and attended Southern University. She was employed for many years as a retail sales associate and retail manager. Audrey was a was a faithful member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and watching football with her family, especially the New Orleans Saints. Beloved wife of the late Hilton J. Jacob, Sr. Loving mother of Hilton J. Jacob, Jr. and Reginal (Crystal) Jacob. Devoted grandmother of Catrena (Cedric, Sr.) Conner, Gregory Jacob, Joseph Jacob,Hilton J.Jacob III, and Daijanae Jacob. Great-grandmother of Ve’Breyon Becnel, Johnny Allen and Cedric Conner, Jr. Daughter of the late Stanley Cass, Sr. and Albertine Cass. Sister of Lillie Ewell and the late Thomas Cass, Sr., Yvonne Hunter, Stanley and Joseph Cass. Audrey is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Public Viewing at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 9:00a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY.
