Arnishie Allean Dillon Alexander entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 87. She was a native of Tylertown, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. She was a retired Laundry Valet of Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Arnishie was a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church for 66 years, where she was a member of the Senior Choir, Mission Society, and Sunday School Department. Loving mother of Williesteen Burroughs, Michael, David, and Randy Alexander, Lisa A. Hensley, Arnell A. Moore, and the late Alfred Alexander, Jr., and Wanda Jean Alexander. Daughter of the late Vandee Dillon of Franklinton, LA, and Selina Magee Dillon of Tylertown, MS. Sister of Vandee Dillon, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; also survived by 32 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of J. P. Emergency Management, J.P. Sewerage Dept., and McDonalds are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at New Zion Baptist Church, 1131 Garden Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Austin Dennis, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
