Anthony “Tony” Lewis, Jr. was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 38. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Avondale, LA. Tony, as he is affectionately known to family and friends, was a 2002 graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and received his CDL license in 2017. He was employed as a bus driver with G Stunna Bus Services. Loving fiancé’ of Mursheika Hall. Devoted father of Antranette Lewis; he was also a father figure to his fiancée’s children Jayden, Ja’lia, and Jaycee. Beloved son of Margo Brown (Darrell) and Wheeler Johnson, Sr. (Maydeal). Grandson of the late Lorenza Brown, Rita Mae Johnson, and Oliver Johnson. Brother of Wheeler Johnson, Jr. (Victoria), Anthony M. Bell, Adriene Berry (Randall), Jasmine Johnson, Whitney Johnson, Ireion Benjamin, Tiffany Chambers, and Antionette Colbert-Miller. Nephew of the late Charles “Pusher” Molden (Joyce). Godson of Gilda and Shelia Harden; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
