ANTHONY CARL JOSEPH

Anthony Carl Joseph departed this life at University Medical Center on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the age of 56. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Anthony was a graduate of O. Perry Walker High School, and employed with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans as a Maintenance Tech II. He was a member of New Home Ministries. Beloved son of Gwendolyn Theresa Joseph and the late Felix C. James. Grandson of the late Victor and Viola Joseph, Jack “Daddy” and Frances D. James. Loving brother of Adrian (Stephanie) Joseph of Gulfport, MS, Nalungo A. Hall, and the late Carlos and Eddie Hall. Uncle of the late Tayveon Joseph. Nephew of the late Gilbert Amacker, Donald Ray James, and Rudolph Joseph. Anthony is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Home Ministries and all neighboring churches; employees of Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
