ANTHONY KIRK JONES

Anthony Kirk Jones, age 50, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 8, 2021. This loss was completely unexpected leaving family and friends shocked and deeply saddened. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Anthony was a 1989 graduate West Jefferson High School. After graduation, Anthony served his country as a member of the United States Navy and traveled the world. Upon leaving the Navy, he resided in Norfolk, VA for many years before returning to Louisiana. Loving father of Alexus Kiana Jones. Beloved son of Veronica A. Walker, Harry L. Jones, and his biological father Ronald L. (Marie) Davis, Sr. Grandson Deloris Cullier, Isabelle P. (Theodore J.) Amour, and the late Lawrence Harris, Raymond Cullier, Paul Davis, Sr., Milford Jones, and Carrie Knapper Giles. Devoted brother of Delika K. Jones, Shikeema L. Jones, Tarando J. Davis, Sr., Dawn M. Davis, Shawn M. Davis, and Ronald J. Davis, Jr.; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
