ALTHEIA EDNA WILLIAMS

Altheia M. Williams entered eternal rest at University Medical Center on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the age of 83. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Altheia was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School, and she was a former employee with Orleans Parish School Board in the food service dept. Beloved mother Kim B. (Debra) Walker. Daughter of the late Chester and Mildred Mitchell. Sister of Dwight Mitchell, and the late Teresa M. W. Brown, and Gloria M. Jones, also survived by 2 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church 1249 LeBoeuf St. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.  Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the above-named church.
